For almost 50 years, Bynorm® have been an Australian-owned business offering quality outdoor power equipment replacement parts and accessories for the Australian and New Zealand market. In these years, Bynorm® has built a strong reputation as a company committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
In March 2006, Bynorm® was acquired by the Ariens Company®, which is one of the world’s premier manufacturers of consumer power equipment. Since that milestone, in the merger with Ariens and Stens®, there has been a significant increase in the product range and services that we can extend to our customers through an enhanced international supply chain network. Since that time, Bynorm® has undergone a name change to align itself with the global parts brand, Stens®.
As a leader in its industry, Stens® proudly exemplifies innovative products, fast service, great customer care and support. From a small family business to the global company we are today, we strive to maintain our reputation for delivering quality replacement products by adhering to our core values.
At Stens®, we relish our roots. From a one room mom and pop shop to the global company we are today, we always passionately work to astound our customers. Even in the beginning we believed that if you satisfy the customer with excellent service, a quality product and fair price, we could build a bigger and better offering for tomorrow.
Stens® today supplies quality replacement and original parts and accessories to more than 50,000 dealer customers around the world. Stens carries over 5,200 of the fastest moving products including blades, belts, filters, saw chain and bars, spark plugs, and internal engine parts. Stens® also carries a variety of universal products such as oil, lubricants, safety gear, trimmer line, tools, and hardware. Stens® is proud to be part of the Ariens Company. Established in 1933 in Brillion, Wis., Ariens Company is a leading manufacturer of outdoor power equipment for both consumer and professional use. The privately-owned and operated company is currently in its fourth-generation of Ariens family leadership. The company’s premium international brands include Ariens Sno-Thro®, Sno-Tek® and Ariens lawn and garden products for residential consumers; Countax® and Westwood® lawn tractors; and Gravely® and Parker® commercial equipment for the landscape management, facilities maintenance and sports field sectors.
(Brillion, Wis. – December 15, 2015) Ariens Company announces the distribution reassignment of the Stens® and Bynorm® aftermarket parts and spares in Australia to Allpower Industries based in Keysborough, Victoria, effective January1, 2016. The reassignment allows Australian dealers to reduce their supply chain complexity while retaining access to the Stens® and Bynorm® brands.
Ariens Company has historically operated a replacement parts business within the outdoor power equipment category in Australia and introduced mowing equipment in 2009, selling product directly to dealers.
“The Stens® and Bynorm® brands have experienced steady, consistent growth,” says Dan Ariens, Chairman and CEO. “Earlier this year we reached agreement with Allpower Industries to represent the Ariens and Gravely Brands of outdoor power equipment in Australia and we are pleased that Allpower Industries has agreed to deepen that relationship with the Ariens Company.
Under this new arrangement, Ariens Company will work directly with Allpower to ensure its aftermarket parts and spares products continue to meet the needs of the Australian market. The company uses a similar distribution model in several countries around the world including Germany, France, Italy and Russia.
“Allpower Industries is a highly-respected distribution company with a range of premium brands that offer a more broad set of products to Australian dealers, making this a natural fit for Ariens Company after market and spares business and the demands of independent dealers,” says Ariens. “Allpower has a storied history of excellence in the Australian marketplace, making this partnership positive for all parties involved.”
Some of the complementary brands distributed by Allpower include ECHO® and Shindaiwa®. Visit www.allpower.com.au for more information.
Allpower expects to launch many new Stens products throughout the course of 2016 and beyond.
